Gemma Cooper is a Commercial Business Partner at Nielsen where she leads strategic relationships with some of the world’s biggest beverage manufacturers, helping them to understand shopping behaviours, and the FMCG and retail trends that will shape their business in the future. Prior to this role, Gemma worked with a global confectionery client to provide actionable insights on live business issues and topical thought leadership to help them unlock growth opportunities.
Gemma has also worked for a global soft drinks manufacturer, where she led the trade marketing activities, including planning, activation and measuring the return on investment to drive category growth.
Gemma has experience working across the US and the UK helping clients to understand the category dynamics and identifying the key trends and insights to shape future innovation plans. She regularly provides expert analysis and commentary to The Grocer, Drinks Retailing News, Convenience News, the Telegraph and more.
